Fred Ahles Bio

Growing up across the street from McKennan Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan – flying is in my blood. I started washing planes when I was 15, soloed at 16 and earned my Private on my 17th birthday.

Now today, after over 39 years in aircraft sales and 11,000+ hours of flight time, I can tell you I’m just as excited to go to work today, as I was the day I made my first solo. Why? First off, “airplane” people are special – we share a common bond.

Secondly, because I specialize in low-time, high-performance aircraft like the Mooney Acclaim, the Piper Mirage/Matrix and Meridian, and the TBM 700 and 850, I get to work with owner/pilots who want the best of the best.

Plus, along with flying some of the best airplanes, I’m also privileged to work with a team of the brightest, most enthusiastic, trustworthy and caring professionals in all of aviation. As a founding partner of Premier, that means a lot to me. And it will mean a lot to you. We don’t just sell airplanes; we strive to be a trusted advisor. With a growing list of customers all over North and South America and Europe, we have a vested interest in making sure the airplane you buy is exactly the right one for you.
