Corbin:

The pleasure was all mine.  It is amazing how much a person can learn in 3 days.  You have taught me things that will stick throughout my aviation days.  High altitude, landings under this type of aircraft, emergency techniques,  communications skills,  engine behavior, etc.  things that no other instructor had ever taken the time to teach me.  Once again, you´ve opened up a whole new perspective in aviation for me, and I will surely be even more prepared for our final lessons.

Thank you again for your time and patience.

Best regards,

Gerardo Ruiz

Mooney Acclaim S

Gerardo,

It was a pleasure to fly with someone who is prepared and ready to take on the next challenge.  Your performance was on par for your experience, I enjoyed the opportunity to share my aviating experiences with you this week.  The long cross country introduces the learning pilot to many new conditions you have read about. There was a lot of advantages for you to take the journey the last two days, you now know what they are.  I’ve sent you a few reminders of the topics we discussed for you to digest. The next flights will introduce some of the emergency tasks and more crosswind landings!

               Corbin Hallaran
Chief Pilot & Director of Safety and Training
               Premier Aircraft Sales, Inc.

Fred,

Thanks for making my buying decision easy at Premier.   I'm glad I purchased the Mooney Acclaim Type S.  I know I have a way to go some hard work to do before I become comfortable and competent flying my new Acclaim solo.  Corby was a very good instructor with a lot of patience.  In fact, everyone I have dealt with at Premier Aircraft Sales, Inc. has exceeded all of my expectations in purchasing an aircraft.  You have compiled a very professional and knowledgeable team.

The Acclaim gives me more challenges and an has made me identify some goals which will include me earning my IFR rating.  Hopefully by this time next year I will be looking at my next aircraft purchase which will be my the next step towards my final aviation "mission".

Thanks again,

Terry Daidone

p.s. please thank Susan for making all of the paperwork, registrations, and timeline flow smoothly...

Corbin:
 Great to hear from you.
Have had the pleasure of taking the aircraft, with four aboard, (less necessary fuel offload, of course) to Key West over the last long weekend. Totally enjoyable and was so happy to have NEXRAD going both ways.
I have flown it a few times since then and have loved every minute.  What a great plane!  Could not be happier with the service and the purchase experience.  All of my expectations were met or exceeded and some, even anticipated by the Premier Team.  I look forward to returning the plane for its first (with me) 50 hour oil change.  I have already mentioned to some of my fellow pilots in CAP that I had a good experience with Premier; even pointed out the location on Saturday as I was arriving back at FXE.
 Regards,

Bud Borner
   Dear Fred:
I would like to spend a moment and rave about the services of both Corbin Hallaran and especially Art Spengler.
Art was the consummate professional and was very helpful during the brokerage process. His honesty and complete support can only be cited as an example of what aircraft sales ought to be... and so often isn't.
Corbin was very helpful in working me into the airplane in a very short period of time (due to travel and weather issues). I found him to be very knowledgeable and he would obviously be a great instructor.
The entire experience was as painless as possible. Thank you very much. Oh, and I LOVE the airplane!
 Sincerely,
James V. Harper
   Fred,
Trip home was great.  Stopped in Chattanooga for fuel and to let a significant cell pass, that I watched develop on my radar - thank you very much - then a smooth flight back to BMG.  Greased one, and bumped a little on the other.  Getting closer.
I am going to write you a formal letter, and notes to Susan and Corby, but let me say in advance that I am so impressed with how you run your company with integrity and customer service. We both know there is a lot of non-customer service out there, and it is always refreshing to find a company working for the customer.
Looking forward to my next trip down Ft. Lauderdale.

  Dear Mr. Ferguson:
First and foremost, congratulations on your new appointment as the CEO for
Mooney. You have been passed the torch from a company rich with heritage
and soul. Good luck!
It was just these qualities that I was looking for last year as I pursued my lifetime dream of buying a new airplane. After researching the "competitors", I realized that Columbia and Cirrus were excellent aircraft, but Mooney had the soul.
During my tour of the factory this past May (on my birthday I might add), I felt like I was in an 80's MTV video as I walked down the factory production line. Everything went quiet, and slowed down as I waved to the burly Harley guy crafting sheet metal. I could see the American flag, sparks and all, reflecting off the artisan's facemask as he welded the powerful joints of the Mooney’s protective steel cage. Everything seemed so surreal. I was just waiting for the Van Halen music to kick in. Everyone smiled and said hello... and meant it.
This is soul. To be sure, I think of Mooney as the Harley Davidson of airplanes.
And like other great companies, the tentacles of the Mooney legacy reach far, which brings me to the purpose of this letter. I would like to tell the story of how a few very special Mooney people made a very bad time a lot better. They put my broken dream back together again.
In August of this year, just two months and 20 pampered flight hours after
N823A was born, I lent the aircraft to a friend and experienced instructor
(you'll have to take a number if you want to comment). As fate would have it that day, he did NOT land by "the numbers" on arrival to Hilton Head N.C. Too high, too hot .... (go around terms in Mooney language)..... too whatever.... KABOOM!
When I got the call, everything slowed down, my hearing dimmed and I think my vision went a little tunnel. From surreal to unreal, I was just waiting for the Alice Cooper music to kick in. That empty feeling YOU just felt reading the above, well, multiply it by a billion and that's how I felt. The elation experienced on that crisp Kerrville morning in May, just two months prior, was now equally and oppositely nullified with heartache.
I kept my cool, didn't raise my voice an octave as I deduced that at least nobody was injured. Thank God for that!
As you can imagine, I was sick to my stomach, particularly after I was briefed about the new configuration of N823AF's now impotent Hartzell triple man blades.
The nose gear "discs” were blown out like the vertebrae of a cliff diver landing head first into a one foot reflecting pool. These ‘Rod Machadian’ analogies are probably accurate, but I will never know for sure since I declined the offer to view the damage vie e-photos. I simply refused to salt my wounds of disappointment.
To the rescue were the staff at Premier Aircraft. My first call was to Corbin
Hallaran.... and it was on a Sunday morning so he sensed there was trouble.
Corbin was most generous with his condolences and having gotten to know him on the flight back from Kerrville, I could tell he was upset. He reassured me everything would be ok and that the man to make it all better was Wes
Dale.
The following Monday, I received a call from Wes and just like Corbin
said, this was the guy who was going to fix everything. I was impressed. Not only
was he understanding, but his warm southern disposition was most
comforting. He spent over 45 minutes on the phone with me detailing how he was going to make the plane just as good as new again. That was just the first
call. There were many others and all were upbeat and enthusiastic.
 I told Wes
that I, as a physician for 20 years, know the power of good communication skills
and reassurance. Let me tell you, Wes Dale is a master of both. He detailed every step of the process that was going to get N823AF safely back to Florida. At one point he mentioned he might need to persuade the right main gear (if necessary) back into the well with a mallet! He kind of reminded me of that infamous "can do" character that actor George Kennedy played in the original "Airport" back in the late 60's.
After eight long weeks in repair I saw N823AF again in her original glory just like
the day I picked her up in Kerrville. Wes Dale had delivered exactly as he had promised.
I simply cannot express my full gratitude to the Premier family for making a very bad time a whole lot easier. Wes Dale must be recognized for his outstanding performance, dedication, and customer skills especially since in my opinion his efforts came from the heart. It is the Wes Dales of the world that will keep the Mooney company thriving for years to come and I hope that as the new CEO you will embrace those employees that treat your customers so exceptionally well.
 Sincerely,
Glenn Collins
   Thanks Corby,
I flew to Lakeland yesterday. The TIS works pretty good near MCCOY. People just flying around doing maneuvers can make you kind of nuts with constant changing direction and altitude. I gained some empathy for center and approach controllers. I’ve also tried a couple of GPS approaches. I know how to work the Gamins but am only beginning to understand how to use them.
A fellow pilot with a new Turbo Saratoga was admiring the Mooney outside the ALL restaurant. He told me he thought a Bravo would suite his mission better than the retract 6. I told him to go see Premier. I’ve been very happy with the treatment I received and will spread the word hoping for your continued success.
We love our new Mooney immensely. It is truthfully a beautiful, fast plane.
Thanks for your help during our selection process. It is nice to know we have the support of your staff and the Mooney team.
 Thanks to everyone at Premier,
Mike and Cathy Wier

Subject: PAS: Amazing team, amazing plane Mooney N5791U
The flight home Saturday was textbook, thanks to the effort of the whole team who delivered this incredible plane to me. It is incredible flying the 262! The actual flying doesn't seem a huge difference but the systems on board makes the experience way different. The KFC150 takes a lot of the "flying" out of the equation. The flight back from Fort Lauderdale was great. I flew at 16k and FL200 on each of the two legs with speeds I only previously dreamed were possible (although I guess the days of 8.5-9 gal/hr are gone forever!).
I want each of you to know how much I appreciate your making this delivery as impressive as it was. Earle, thanks for coordinating the activities. Wes and Ray thanks for all the effort getting this plane virtually squawk free and the extra effort on Friday afternoon to fix all the last minutes issues that were discovered, including the auxiliary power outlet at 5 p.m. Friday.
Corby, I appreciate your excellent coaching and thorough preparation getting me up to speed on the more advanced systems and techniques for this plane. Susan, thanks for the smooth processing of the paperwork.
Fred, I appreciate the personal attention you also provided Friday. You have put together a team of professionals that is most impressive, a credit to your vision for a top flight aircraft sales and service company and motivation to keep this team working smoothly. I will happily be filing a similarly complimentary PIREP to the Mooney owners email list.  My appreciation again to all!

We will many times write letters to tell of a bad experience with a vendor or supplier of parts or services. I want to write a letter to let MAPA members know of a recent good experience that I had with Premier Aircraft Sales of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
I had been in the market for a late model Ovation for several months. There were, and still are, numerous beautiful aircraft on the market. One Ovation ad that I saw was of interest to me. I called Earle Boyter of Premier Aircraft Sales. After discussing this plane I decided to move on. Earle offered to "keep an eye out" for what I was interested in. Earle called me about an Ovation 2 that I would only dream about having. Between Earle, and Fred Ahles, the owner of Ft. Lauderdale Premier, they made it possible for me to purchase a beautiful 2004 Ovation 2 for payments similar to that of a much higher time and older Mooney.
I realize that they cannot do the same things they did for me in every case, but the day before acquiring my new ride, Earle "swung by" on his way back to Florida and picked me up. This prevented me from having to buy a commercial flight ticket and deal with all the hassles that go with it, plus, I got a chance to fly the new GX Ovation on the way down! Since our next morning departure was early, Premier had breakfast waiting on us when we arrived. Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. I got to meet all the support people that I had been speaking to on the phone. I also met with Wes Dale and Ray Bysiewicz -veteran Mooney mechanics- who pledged to support me in any way possible. In the two small warranty issues I have dealt with since my purchase, I have been pleasantly surprised by the cooperation I immediately received.
Corbin Hallaran, Premiers' Flight Instructor, gave me the customary checkout to familiarize me with my new Ovation. He methodically taught me about all the systems that differed from my 201. Time was spent in the practice area then another hour or so doing a few take-offs and landings- then log book entry. After we flew and discussed my performance and flight characteristics of the Ovation, Premier had N92PA refueled at no charge to me for my trip home! Since my purchase I have been contacted several times by the staff at Premier. They were making sure that all the facets of my purchase were satisfactory.
I have come to expect little service from anyone these days because of my experiences. I can honestly say that I have only good things to say about Fred Ahles and his staff at Premier Aircraft Sales! I would whole-heartedly recommend them for your consideration whether it is for aircraft purchase or service. Thank you for making my dream purchase a pleasure!
 Richard F. Marz, D.D.S.
